Mwereerwe Community Vocational Training Centre is committed to being a sustainable institute in our community, offering top-notch training and empowerment opportunities for individuals.

Our goal is to arm students with practical skills that will lead them to the path of successful careers, and also positively impact the economic development of their communities and our country – Uganda – as a whole.

Programs Offered

We offer a wide range of programs that are designed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge for career advancement and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Facilities and Resources

Our programs offer top-notch classrooms and workshops, ensuring a conducive learning environment for all students. We provide training materials, tools, and equipment to enhance practical experience and competence.

Our library boasts a wide range of study materials and resources, while our modern computer laboratory allows students to conduct research efficiently. Safety is a priority, with adequate safety equipment and infrastructure in place for a secure learning environment.

We have strong industry partnerships with local businesses, providing internship, apprenticeship, and job placement opportunities for our students. Career counseling and support services are available to assist students in making informed decisions about their future paths.

Additionally, we offer continuing education opportunities such as workshops, seminars, and short courses to help students further develop their skills and knowledge in their respective fields.

Accreditations and Affiliations

Our accreditation from the Ministry of Education and Sports, specifically through the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT), demonstrates our commitment to meeting high-quality standards in vocational education.

By partnering with vocational training and skills development organizations, we ensure that our curriculum stays current and applicable to the needs of today’s workforce.

Through our collaboration with the Infectious Disease Institute (IDI) on the Dreams Project, we are providing valuable skills training to adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW), empowering them for successful futures.
